Story of the Apparitions
The Apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Bayside date back to the year 1970 when Veronica Lueken, the chosen
instrument of Heaven, was graced with the first Apparition in her
home on April 7th. This Apparition was also witnessed by her neighbor, Grace Pera.
Our Lady instructed the seer to hold Vigils of prayer on the eves of the great feast days of the Church
on the grounds of the old St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Bayside, in front
of the statue of Our Lady of Grace.
She promised that She would appear and give her a Message for the world at each Vigil beginning on June
18 th that year. The Apparitions continued for 25 years until
Veronica's death on August 3, 1995.
Christ the King miraculously appears on a laminated rose petal, complete with crown, scepter, and a
hand raised, as though blessing His subjects. The roses brought to the Vigil are
distributed to the faithful. They are blessed by JESUS and MARY and have the power of cure and conversion.
The Apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Bayside: the Apparition of apparitions!
This apparition site recapitulates and updates Jesus's and Mary's messages at past true apparition sites,
such as the apparitions at LaSalette, the apparitions of the Miraculous
Medal in Paris, the apparitions in Lourdes, and even the recent apparitions in Garabandal, Spain.
Messages and prophecies given to the visionary by Jesus and Mary concern revelations of the coming Apocalypse,
the Great Tribulation, the Second Coming of Christ, and the
Great Era of Peace to follow. Miraculous photos, cures, conversions and other supernatural signs and
wonders abound as proof of the heavenly Apparitions.
